• Sponsors for the 2009 LAD are being cultivated now. If your organization would like to support 2009 Colorado Latina/o Advocacy Day, view our sponsorship opportunities. 

• Join us for the third annual Latina/o Advocacy Day on Sunday and Monday March 15th & 16th, 2009.  
• The purpose of Latina/o Advocacy Day is to provide advocacy/lobby training and briefings on current policy issues such as education, immigration, healthcare, civil rights/economic justice to Latinas and Latinos in Colorado. 
• By the end of the event, participants learn about the policy issues important to them and actually meet with their legislators, taking a direct role in the policy making process.   

• Colorado Latina/o Advocacy Day is co-convened by the Latina Initiative,  Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR) and Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC).
